We're saving a seat for you.
Even if you're not a performer, you can make a name for yourself in the
arts by naming a seat in one of three Portland Center for the Performing
Arts (PCPA) theaters: the Arlene
Schnitzer Concert Hall, the Keller
Auditorium or the Newmark
Theatre. For a $300, $400 or $500 tax deductible donation, you can
have a name of your choice engraved on a brass plaque attached to the
armrest of a theatre seat.
You can name the seat after yourself, a loved one,
a special friend, a business or an organization. You can name one or several
seats. You can be sentimental or clever. Click

The spotlight on improvements.
Naming a seat is an important and lasting way to help
maintain the vitality of our community's performing arts facilities. With
more than a million people attending performances at PCPA every year,
the theatres are understandably showing signs of wear.
Friends of the Performing Arts Center plans to raise
approximately $6.0 million through the Name a Seat capital campaign. Proceeds
will be dedicated to long-term maintenance, repairs and upgrades, including
more restrooms, updated sound and lighting equipment, more efficient heating
and cooling systems and better dressing rooms for performers.
