Each year, more than 700 volunteers provide valuable services to the Portland Center for the Performing Arts (PCPA). They work in the gift shop and as information aides. They are tour guides, ushers, greeters and office assistants.

Last year alone, PCPA volunteers logged more than 40,000 hours in service. If the PCPA had to hire staff to cover the volunteer efforts, it would have cost them over $500,000.
